My job title at McDonald's is "Vice-President, International Media Director". My work consists in providing support to Marketing Departments of McDonald's Markets around the world, in the optimization of their investment in the Media, by both planning effectively and buying efficiently.
I have joined the Company more than 15 years ago and worked first at McDonald's Europe as Media Director, then as Media and Market Research Director. In 1995 I moved to my present role in International Media.
Before McDonald's, I worked for almost 20 years in various Advertising Agencies, including Intermarco-Publicis, Ted Bates, Euro-RSCG, TBWA and BDDP. My first job was in Marketing Research, then I moved to Media Planning and Buying.
I am involved in various Industry Organizations: I represent McDonald's in the WFA's (World Federation of Advertisers) Media Committee, I am also active in the "ARM" (Audience Research Methods Group), the Joint Industry Group that has produced Global Guidelines for TV Audience Measurement (also known as "GGTAM").
I was born in Florence, Italy, where I attended University (Economics and Business Administration) and had my first work experiences. Since I left Italy, I have lived and worked in France and the UK. My base-office, and home, are currently in Paris, France. I am fluent in Italian, French and English.
